The Diocese of Peoria TEC Community invites you to join us for the fourth TEC Congress,
July 24–26, 2009. In 2008, we reflected upon the words of Jesus, "Whoever wishes to come after Me, must deny himself," and that is accomplished through prayer and sacrifice. Accordingly, our attempts to help others encounter Jesus Christ through TEC must begin by denying ourselves and putting Christ and others first, otherwise known as "wheat." When we gather in Peoria, the theme will be "A Plentiful Harvest in Christ." In Matthew 9:37 we hear the words "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
